What some of you may not know is that Mrs Karat has devoted a lot of her spare time over the past four years as medical support for the Tour de Frimley cycle challenges. These challenges mostly benefit the Frimley Health Charity, in particular Mrs Karat’s Breast Care Appeal which ran from 2013 to 2016. In that time we raised a staggering £70k which will go towards specialist equipment in the new Breast Unit which is due to start development and will benefit the local community. In her time as medical support, Mrs Karat has demonstrated a wealth of medical knowledge and expertise outside of her specialist field. Her bedside manner is very professional and reassuring, and her commitment to the local community in raising awareness of breast cancer has been outstanding. On behalf of the whole Tour de Frimley cycling team and support crew, I would like to thank you for being with us on this journey and for looking after our medical needs. It has been a joy working with you. Best wishes, Chris

I have today seen Mrs Karat for my 2nd consultation regarding cosmetic surgery. I felt very at ease from the initial consultation, Mrs Karat was highly professional, very empathetic and listened to my concerns regarding surgery. Time was not an issue as both my appointments were well over the arranged timings which shows that Mrs Karat is more interested in my requests and time spent to conduct a full assessment and joint decision making rather than clock watching. I have got my surgery booked in for 4 weeks time and feel both excited and in very safe hands...thank you very much for you expertise, knowledge and support.

Mrs Karat is a consummate professional who also can put you at ease during what can be a very worrying time. All my questions were answered and she went back over points if I wanted her to. I can't recommend Mrs Karat highly enough. She has a genuine interest in each and every patient but also in getting the message about what she does out into the community

Mrs Karat is a fantastic clinician in all ways. She balances caring and humour with outstanding surgical skills. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in June 2016 & have been so fortunate to have been under her care. She rapidly turned me around from a gibbering wreck to being confident and positive about the future. My reconstructed breast looks amazing - she's a genius! I can't say enough to praise her and the breast care team at Frimley Park Hospital - outstanding!

Having worked in a Hospital myself for the past 11 years, I can honestly say that Mrs.Karat is one of the most friendly, professional, down to earth and caring health professionals I've ever come across. I had breast augmentation surgery under her care on October 5th 2016, I am 5 weeks post op and I am absolutely overjoyed with the outcome. Mrs.Karat made me feel at ease from the moment I met her in my first consultation right up until my follow up 2 weeks post op. She listened to and answered honestly all questions and concerns not matter how big or small. I would recommend Mrs.Karat 100x over. She is amazing at her job and all round just a lovely person.
